The super rich are laughing their butts off. They will buy up stock for nothing and make a fortune in a few months. Makes you think maybe somehow theyโ€™re all behind all this foolishness.

    1. Spartacus

      I’ve wondered

    2. Tyler Durden

You know they can make money betting against stocks? With puts and short selling. No one super rich is gonna buy now, only boomers. It’s gonna crash way more, everything’s closing. Get use to it.

    3. E S

Tyler Durden only ones buying will be the rich who can afford to wait for it to bounce back. Middle class and the poor who bought in will be the losers. History proves that

What would happen if we were smart and Canada went on a full lock down just like Italy? Only grocery and pharmacies open , no large gathering? Simple life for a bit?

    1. Timbuck Too

Yeah, do it for a month. Give every adult an equal amount to what a person would get as a maximum EI monthly payment. Lots of folks wouldn’t be able to survive without a paycheque of some kind for a month. But at least this would cover most expenses. Of course it would have to be an online thing that would have to be implemented immediately.

  9. Sporto

this is the time to invest! let it keep crashing down and invest in something smart. alot of things are going to pick right back up after this virus passes

  10. FREEDOM33

they need a pandemic to blame. look at history

    1. Timbuck Too

yeah. Wouldn’t want to mention that the markets were on life support already. The Fed has been dumping billions into the REPO market since last fall.

If Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to do better in the polls. He needs to put Canada, first before everyone else.
